Gamma Tool

The NGT-B is a Nal(TI) scintillator based natural gamma ray logging tool that is used to make depth corrections to logs by identifying the location of naturally radioactive rock formations behind casing that can be correlated with open-hole logs.

The Ti-6Al-4V Titanium pressure housing not only provides maximum protection in sour-gas environments, but minimizes gamma ray attenuation due to its low density.

NGT-B electronics are fully temperature compensated to maintain constant count-rates at all rated temperatures.  It is available as either high speed digital telemetry or analog pulse output.
