Wireline Logging Tools for Oil, Gas & Water Wells

CBG Wireline Logging tools are designed to connect to the tool string per customer specifications. Electronics are fully temperature compensated to maintain constant count-rates at all rated temperatures. 

The Natural Gamma tool, is available in both 1 11/16” and 1 3/8” diameters. These tools are used to make depth corrections to logs by identifying the locations of naturally radioactive rock formations behind casing that can be correlated with open-hole logs. Each contains a super-sensitive hermetically-sealed scintillator crystal and photomultiplier tube for maximum log quality. Mechanical designs are derived from MWD tools to ensure a rugged and reliable tool.

The eddy current Induction Collar Locator (ICL) allows for the measurement of Casing Collars, including flush-collars, and provides data to analyze mechanical characteristics of the casing such as thickness variations, corrosion and perforations.

The patented (US6,084,403) Induction Collar Locator tool is used to make depth corrections to logs by identifying the location of casing collars, including flush joints, and to inspect other mechanical features of the casing such as thickness variations or perforations.

NGT-B

The NGT-B is a Nal(TI) scintillator based natural gamma ray logging tool that is used to make depth corrections to logs by identifying the location of naturally radioactive rock formations behind casing that can be correlated with open-hole logs.
